Problem while taking external services

Gurus,

i am in implementation project and in integration testing phase.

i am getting following error:

G/L account 40200700 cannot be used (please correct)

Message no. ME045

Diagnosis

Comparison of the field selection strings from the G/L account 40200700 and the account assignment category F reveals that there is an incompatible combination of field selections for the field selection group 'Cost center'.

The G/L account field selection is stored in table T004F; that for the account assignment is stored in table T162K.

Procedure

Please enter a correct G/L account.

Please give the solution.

hi

kindly consult with your CO personnel and check whether the the setting for G/L account required some other field as mandatory ,also check whether the post to automatically only is applied for that cost element

Hi,

Check Field status of Cost Centre field in the two table thru Txn SM30

ur acct assignment F should'nt ask for cost centre , try to maintain it as optional in view V_162K thru txn SM30
