problem with installation

Hi,

I am trying to install the abap-netweaver in my desktop. What I

have done is as follows :

1. Started installing the software with the required system hardware requirements.

2.Installed the correct version of java platform.

3.Installed the microsoft loopback adapter.

4. have choosen a local installation.

Error message : <b>unable to perform test logon. make sure that the system is started,that the user DDIC exists,that the password is correct.</b>

Please help..............

I think you got this error, at end of the installtion,it looks like the system cannot perform a test logon after installion!, please check the password of DDIC, in most cases, you would have used different password at the last step of installtion screen.
