Not only, RWB monitors both ABAP and JAVA stack. It's a pleace where you can monitor all components.

Hi,

In RWB we cant monitor the Errors occured in IDOC & HTTP adapters ( Because IDOC & HTTP are sit on ABAP Stack )

So that's why we need MONI to monitor these types of adapters.

and also in MONI we can see the Inbound & Outbound Processed messages.

Moni lies on ABAP Stack And RWB lies on JAVA stack.

In RWB we can monitor alll the Communication channels of the adapters developed in JAVA.( Like File, RFC, JDBC,SOAP,MAIL,)

We can't see the CC monitoring in RWB for the Adapters which are sit on ABAP Stack ( Like IDOC ,HTTP, Proxy)

Hi,

As stated correclty by all the people RWB on Java stack and MONIT on ABAP stack.

Refer the below thread for more details:

Messae monitoring through RWB:

You use message monitoring in the following cases:

● To track the status of messages

● To find errors that have occurred and establish what caused them

Message monitoring enables you to use the following functions:

● Display and manage messages

● Display the message overview

● Search for messages using the index

● Filter displayed messages by particular criteria

● Configure the message display

● Edit messages

SXMB_MONI:

Monitoring enables a system administrator to monitor the system. He or she can:

● Monitor the processing of messages and message packages

● Check message throughput

● Execute error and status tracking.
