SAPOSCOL NOT RUNNING? SHARED MEMORY NOT AVAILABLE

Dear friends,

i am getting this error while starting saposcol from ST06.

but i am getting data in detail analysis (ST06/OS06) but

some data is missing.

i already performed following activites.

1)checked the user who is having authority.

2)deleted shred memory from OS.

3) checked perfmon.exe at os level.

Hi ,

At first just check the permissions ,

the owner of the SAPOSCOL .exe shd be root and it shd have permissions like -rwsr-x--- this.

Check the dev_coll.log file when ur starting the saposcol .this shd be under root owner and it is located in /usr/sap/tmp.

When ur starting r u getting any error???

How did you do that? Assuming you´re on Windows this is done automatically and can´t be done by any tools.

What did you check there?
