Hi,
ECC 6.0, SRM 5.0
When requester creates SC and the approver rejects the SC, Then requester tries to change the SC and changes are done successfully.
When we check the approval preview, Its not going for the approver to approve or reject the SC..
Security level for user -- > 3
How can this be done, Please help us in this regard..

please let me know wether you are increasing the value of the shopping cart (or) reducing the value of the shopping cart?
if you are reducing the value , please ensure that the value of the shopping cart is such that the required workflow is started.
what do you see in the approval preview before you order the shopping cart after the change? does it show the required approvers? (or) does it show (no approval required )?
Also let me know wether the earlier approvers were added manually (or) determined by the system ( for example single step , double step workflow ).
if the approvers were added manually , they will not be retained
please check for the above things

We are creating sc using Limit item.
I am increasing the value of the SC,
After the SC is changed and saved, IN the approval preview the status is rejected. that means it is not triggering the workflow after we change the SC and save.. Is there any other workflow that needs to be triggered for change SC..
We are using N-step approval Badi and approval are comming from this badi.

Hi Kumar,
The changes will only go to the Approver when the Aproval work flow is active for the change version.
The security level only empowers the user to change the shopping cart.Please activate the Approval work flow for the change version using SWB_PROCUREMENT txn or SWE2 txn for event linkages.
In case of shopping cart check for Resubmitposition event work flows in event linkages using SWE2.Check for WS10000215.
Also check by adding a new line to the existing rejected shopping cart with same item and value and see whether it triggers the approval work flow or not.
Also check whether the approval work flow is triggered for both the items or just the newly added line item.

Hi ,
Try these following steps and check what is the status of the workflow.
Login as the approver to the SRM
Go to the business workspace using tcode : sbwp
Now search for the document approved or check the status of the workflow and also check the log of the
workflow to see if the workflow is stuck up somewhere. (this will lead you to the workdlow builder)
OR
Check if you have a agent assigned to your workflow concerned for rejection or see if this workflow is set to as a background process.
