Special Procurement Key

My question pertains to special procurement key that define a relationship between target and supplying location.

When you send Special Procurement Key via cif to APO, does it automatically creates a transportation lane as stated in SAP Documentation.

Or TL has to be created before it can assign to product? In short does it work similar to info-records?

No it will not create tranportation lane in APO, you need to create TL manually in APO for all the Stock transfer relationship in R/3 .

It is in the future plan of SAP .

Hi

Yes It creates a TL automatically when you use special procurement key. It is not future plan or something..It is already available in SCM 5.0 also....Check it for yourself. prerequisites are purchasing info record should exist for your source and the product.

Is there a standard way to avoid the creation of the TL from SPK? other than using User Exit.
