what is the difference between pgi and pgr?
Hi friend,
Post Goods Issue is Outbound Delivery and Post Goods Delivery means Inbound Delivery.
In most of the cases, PGI coms in SD area and PGR comes under MM area.
PGI using for notmail shipment like outbound.
PGR can also used for customer returns. For this we required the return sale order
PGI and PGR use 2 different movement types.
PGI decreases physical stock and PGR increases
In SD, PGI uses movement type 601 while PGR uses 561 (w/o ref to PO/Delivery)
PGR is Incoming mtrl(Raw mtrl and Customer Retunr) and PGI is Despatch
