Doubt in shopping cart

Hi all,

i am working on SRM 5.0 classical scenario...Can i create a shopping cart using materials in my backend system.(I havent replicated the material to ebp)..Is it possible to d o that.

Hi Hari,

Irrespective of the scenario (Implementation scenario) you are using except for stand alone to create a shopping cart for backend materials you have to replicate the backend material master to EBP (SRM).

If you can create a local P.org & local P.Group you can very well create shopping carts for local materials.

It is not possible to create the shopping cart with the materials not known locally.

so it is not possible to create shopping carts using your backend materials.

so you have to replicate ---> the materials in to SRM and then you have to do shopping.

Hi Hari,

You need to replicate Materials/Product Categories(Material Groups) from Backend system to SRM system to use them while creating shopping carts.
