Dear Netweaver experts,
I have a strange problem with my Netweaver 2004 :
If I try to deploy onto my local WebAS I get the error
08.02.2008 13:55:03 /userOut/deploy (com.sap.ide.eclipse.sdm.threading.DeployThreadManager) [Thread[Deploy Thread,5,main]] WARNING:
Wrong password for deployment : Server VMWNetweaver did not accept login request as apiadmin on port 50018 - Wrong password supplied - Request for Logon rejected. The SDM account is locked - SDM server will be shut down
My problem is that I don't now how to change the password of the apiadmin user since it does not seem to be a normal J2EE user (did not find it using the User Management).
Does someone know how to solve this problem ?
Best regards,
Daniel
Hello Daniel,
Yes found the right solution. (posted an answer in one of your other queries also regarding setting the SDM in standalone mode first)
You could refer to the SDM Help documentation located in for any commandline SDM help :
SDM\program\doc\SDMCommandLineDoc_en_final.htm
Hope that helps.
Regards,
Snehal

Found an answer which is mostly correct (but not in my case) :
Use your local SDM command to change the SDM password like e.g.
D:\usr\sap\J2E\JC00\SDM\program>sdm changepassword "sdmhome=D:/usr/sap/J2E/JC00/
SDM/program" "newpassword=mypassword"
