Sourcing Relevant Indicator in Ext Req

Hi

We have replicated a PR from R3 & we are trying to process a Bid Invitation from it but we are not finding the same in "carry Out Sourcing".

We have checked in BBP_PD & found that there is a shopping cart existing for this PR (Ext Req.) but the "Source_Rel_Ind" in the item details is Blank whereas it should be X.

However, in the SPRO settings for all Category ID (*) we have made - "Sourcing Always Carried Out".

Can anyone pls suggest what can be a possible reason for this?

Hi,

Try to maintain the product category number id/name(not *) in the product category colum which you would like to shop for and then create a shopping cart and check the status.

Check following in SPRO:

SRM Imp. Guide -> Supplier Relat. Managm. -> SRM Server -> Technical Basic Settings -> Define Backend System for Product Category

SRM Imp. Guide -> Supplier Relat. Managm. -> SRM Server -> Cross-Application Basic Settings -> Define Objects in Backend System (purch. req...)

SRM Imp. Guide -> Supplier Relat. Managm. -> SRM Server -> Sourcing -> Define interactive Sourcing for Product Categories
