where to change application-j2ee-engine.xml ??

hi,

i have to change the application-j2ee-engine.xml file.

WHERE is this file stored ?

Hi Martin

You can change it in the folder structure itself.

If u want something else , please be elaborate.

Hi,

Open J2EE Perspective and expand the Enterprise Application Project whose application-j2ee-engine.xml you want you change.

You will find application-j2ee-engine.xml over here.

what do you mean with 'J2EE Perspective' ?????????????????????????

Hi,

I assume that you are using Eclipe. Just open the windows>open Perspective>other-->J2EE Development.

After opening J2EE perspective, you can see your j2EE projects in the J2EE Explorer view.

okay, thank you

so far, so good. i have never used eclipse before !

when i open J2EE development the J2EE Explorer view is EMPTY.

how should eclipse (which is on my client) know from where it should get the files ????

where is the connection to sap ?

Hi,

You can import the project to your eclipse environment from the file menu.

Once the project is imported successfully you can see it in the j2ee explorer view.

a last question and then we will have it:

i make a network-connection to the sap-server. okay, fine ! but where is the path where a project is stored ? .........usr/sap/............. ?????????

Hi,

The projects that you create would be locally in your workspace that you selected while installing eclipse.

The path of the project deployed on the server can be known from the visual admin under Deploy service.
