sale area is not defined

Hi,

Good Morning.

I HAD CONFIGURED ENTERPRISE STRUCTURE .

I have checked all config relevant to sale areas(5 times) but when i try to create a customer for that sale area, in the t.c xd01

it is displaying that sale area is not defined for customer.

when i click all sale area only my sale org is displayed ,no dist chann and division is displayed.

i am working on newly installed ides ecc 6.0, is that i have to update any table.

kindly suggest your opinion.

Note: Ensure to do the undermentioned configuration also though it is not in Customizing node of Enterprise Structure.

The purpose of this activity is to define distribution channels which have common master data..

Procedure

Access the activity using one of the following navigation options:

IMG Menu -> Sales and Distribution -> Master Data -> Define Common Distribution Channels

Transaction Code: VOR1

12. Defining Common Divisions for Master DataUse

The purpose of this activity is to define distribution channels which have common master data..

Procedure

Access the activity using one of the following navigation options:

IMG Menu -> Sales and Distribution -> Master Data -> Define Common Division

Transaction Code: VOR2

Hi,

Check the assignment of sales organization,distribution channel and division ie.,setting up of sales area.

Also define common distribution channels,

define common divisions,

in SD master data.

If you do this,i think your problem will be solved.

ok

go to T code vor1 and vor2 and then maintain common dictribution channels and common divisions then u will b able see the sales area for the customer.

hi,

as long as you are assigning

1) distribution channel to s.org

2) div to sales org

3) setting up sales area by combining all three

you will not get this error.
