BAPI/RFC for posting confirmation

Hi All,

SRM5.0, ECC5, ECS scenario

We have a requirement in which we would be getting confirmations from suppliers but they will be in a legacy file containing details such as PO no, Item no, product no etc.

I have searched for a confirmation BAPI / RFC which can create confirmations in EBP and in the backend, but had not got any which accepts a PO no as an input.

I guess the manual confirmation (T-code BBPCF01) works in the same way, I tried debugging it but had not made any headway.

If anyone have come across such an BAPi/RFC, please let me know

Hi Kishan,

Confirmation posting doesn't happen through BAPI or RFC.

It happens through IDocs.

Logical Message type for posting confirmation is 'MBGMCR'.

YTou can check the details of this message type in WE20 or alternatively if you think confirmations are already happening in your system, you can go to WE05 and put Logical message as MBGMCR and also date range to see the Idocs generated for this.
