while setting up sld objects . and in creating a software product is it mandatory to give the software component version also in it

Yes it is.

The hierarchy in SLD is like this.

Product ---> Product Version ---> Software Component ---> Software Component Version

and then in Integration Repository you create the NameSpace under the Software Component Version.

Yes , this mandatory field in SLD while creating the SWC. This is used to represent the Version of the S/w component.

Hi,

When u click on Product then it will give u one screen where u need to provide product,Unit,vendor,version,name all fields are mandatory.

Yes it is mandatory field.
