Blanket PO for Services in SRM

Hi,

I want to set up Blanket PO for Services in Extended Classic scenario. Can anyone pass on the knowledge and configuration for the same.

Hi,

You can use the SRM standard functionality go to PO item and select Item cat as "Limit".

This will create a service type and you can define limit amount.

Sreedhar,

Limit order is not possible in Extended classic scenario and thus it would not be feasible.

Please let me know if you have any other suggestions.

Ramgopal,

Yes the blanket PO for services is the "LIMIT Orders" in SRM.

As far as the configuration goes, there is no specific configuration for LIMIT orders, it is the same as other orders.

Not sure about your exact requirement. Keep us updated.

You can create Limit PO's for services in ECS. We do that. How ever there are some issues like the following:

1) Only one line item per PO

2) Contract Release values are not updated until confirmations are done.

We currently use SRM 4.0 with ECC 5.0 ECS.

Hello,

did you find a solution in the PO Service line items?

We have the problem that from SRM in Back R/3 instead a PO with two service items we received one PO with one service item and with one service line items..

do you know any solution ..

we have SRM extended scenario 5.0
