I don't no all of your questions.

1). XI developer roles Mapping(main thing with testing), Designing(IR), Configuration(ID). SLD is done by BASISpeople

2). We can work on the client XI server, no exporting of products

3). Client gives requirement document. Based on that document Functional people prepare the mapping spect(which source field is mapped to which target field), based on that we can do the mapping with conditions based on the Client requirement document(because functional people may not give all full information like conditions)

4). The FAQ's mainly based on the adapters and their fields

6). Client gives the sample data, based on that we can do the testing.

I don't know about your 5th question.

Hi,

1. what are the repsonsiblities of an XI Developer?

A) Stpes are as follows.

1) Receives functional specs.

2) Understand the business requirements.

3) Check whether are the required information is provided in Functional specs or not information like, source sturucutre, target strucutre,Transformation rule, test files, validation rules, error handling, data size etc.

4) Raise issue log if there are issues and resolve it with functional team.

5) Start building or designing the tech specs with all the required details like IR and ID part.

6) Develope the object as per the design.

7) Follow the naming convention as per the doc.

😎 Test the developed object with test cases and prepare UTC.

9) Then reveiw will happen with other team members.

2. Will an XI Developer will transport a Product?

A) In many org BASIS people take cares of transport.

3. wht is purpose of mapping document?

A) Mapping doc has the information like, what is the source and target strucutre, what is the occurance of both of them, what is the transformation logic between source and target.

For example date has to be converted to some different formats etc.

4. Good FAQ's?

??

5. can anyone explained me the complete process of an implementaion project in XI

A) Blue printing phase/desing phase.

Built phase or development phase.

Integration testing

Project go live

Support.

6. From where we can get the test data?

A) Functional people provide the test data, but for testing purpose u can prepare ur own test files this is only to check the interface.

Thnx
