Dear SAP Gurus,

We are implementing ECC 6.0 in an automobile industry wherein need is to attach serial numbers automatically in delivery.

Rule for automatic picking of serial numbers is FIFO. i.e. First serialized product ( Vehicle Mfg date )needs to be assigned in the delivery.

Hi Kishore,

Serial numbers has to be proposed manually. This can be done at the time of order creation and then it can be proposed in delivery.

You need to do a Z in Sales order for this.

Hello,

Not sure whether the serial number will be automatically proposed in the outbound delivery or not in standard. I think there will be some exits available.
