Problem with ADS in ECC

Hi,

I had configure ADS in EP and it is working fine.Now in ECC Icreated ADSUSER and assigned ADSCALLERS group and ADS_AGENT and assigned SAP_BC_FPADS_ICF role.

i created RFC Connection ADS there i had given Target Host my EP hostname, Service no EP Port no(50000) and Path Prefix as /AdobeDocumentServices/Config?style=rpc and i testes connection it is success.

I entered se38 i tested FP_TEST_00 for print preview it is giving me this error FPRUX001

But when it test FP_pdf_test_00 it is giving me the version number.

I went through the SAP note 944221 everything is correct and i even searched in SDN for this error there are many blogs,i checked with them all the configuratios are correct.

Please Guide me in this issue.

Hello Praveen,

I had a very similar problem. I resolved it by duplicating the error, then reading the default trace file in the ../j2ee/cluster/server0/log file.

In the default trace file, I found error messages that lead me to the problems in the configuration.

We had the same error message on our system. The problem was resolved by deactivating and reactivating the fp service in sicf.

Please check that the user ADSuser isn't expiration? You can logon EP with this user and reset the password.

Thankyou for your reply.I went through the SAP Note,everything is fine.

"SICF FP service

Go to T-code SICF, check if following service is activated.

default_host -> sap -> bc -> fp

ABAP Service User - ADS_AGENT

This user must have role SAP_BC_FP_ICF. (or copied role)

URL access

Make sure you can access this URL with user ADS_AGENT and password.

http://<ABAP server>:<ABAP http port> /sap/bc/fp/form/layout/fp_test_00.xdp

ABAP http port can be found under T-code SMICM, Goto -> Services.

J2EE (ADS is installed) configuration:

Destination Service

Visual Administrator -> Server -> Service -> Destination -> Http

Make sure the entry FP_ICF_DATA_<SID> is exist and it has correct entry.

URL: http://<ABAP server>:<ABAP http port>

Authentication: Basic

User: ADS_AGENT

password: your password for ADS_AGENT

Attention: You will have message 'Error during ping operation:Received HTTP response 404' when you push "Save and Test" button, but it is normal behavior. You can ignore this message. "

I checked all these steps and everything is fine in my system.

Still am unable to see the print preview in ECC and you asked me to search,i did that everwhere same SAP note and 944221 is given.Acc to that everything is fine in my SYS.Please help me regarding this
