hello experts,
i was trying to modify the tpparam file in the /usr/sap/trans/bin dir. suddenly my tpparam file contents got deleted.
how can i recover it. or is there any way i can recreate it.
i had tried it by going in to stms -> extras -> system overview ->
but it didn t work
very urgent plz help

Have you check your filesystem? It is 100% utilized ? If it is not try to remount the partition in question

You have two options:
- restore it from a backup
- delete and re-create your TMS configuration

hi all,
we r using ecc 6.0.
i had tried to regenerate from STMS -> Overview -> System -> Extra -> distrubute and activate configuration.
but then it says "operating system cannot close file usr/sap/trans/bin/TP_XXXX.PFL file.
we r using SUSE LINUX 10
any suggestions

my TP_DOMAIN_SID.PFL looks like:
TRANSDIR = /usr/sap/trans
BEN/DBHOST = <hostname>
BEN/DBNAME = <SID>
BEN/DBTYPE = ada
BEN/NBUFFORM = 1
BEN/TP_VERSION = 266
This is a 700 Kernel, ERP2005SR1 release. I may work after you changed <hostname>, <SID> and DBTYPE to your system values.
