Dear Friends,
We are facing problems with SXI_CACHE
ISSUE: Automatic refreshing is not done, evey time we had to manaully refresh it going to sxi_cache.
DETAILS
SERVER : PI70 SP09, running on Netweaver 2004S
RFC: Destination INTEGRATIOn_SERVER_HMI
TYPE : H
USER : PIISUSER-service user
Role : SAP_XI_IS_SERV_USER
prefix path: /dir/CacheRefresh
Service No : Http port No (configured one )
License : Valid license not temporary one.
we have configured as mentioned in Configuration guide, still we are facing problems
I searched the SDn got few tips , but that really didnt help to resolve the issue.
Finally we thought of raising this issue to SAP, before doing it i thought i could get some help from SDN.
Any pointers that could resolve this issue will be appreciated.

Hi Chandra
Please first create a new INTEGRATION_SERVER_HMI and then test the same.
Have you performed the following test
Test the connection by using transaction SM59. An HTTP return
code 500 (Internal Server Error) indicates that everything is ok.
On the Technical Settings tab page, check target host and port (this has to be that of the Integration Directory. You can check this, for example, by using the URL of the SAP Exchange Infrastructure start In case this also dont works please restart the server. This should solve the problem.
Please follow the SAP note 721548
Thanks

Every thing is configured as mentioned, still its not resolved.
We have scheduled the report SI_CACHE_REFRESH to run for evey 1 min, this is working fine.
Still need to rectify that, probably need to delete and recreate once again it may work..?
Thanks for all your answers

Chandra, Check if these service are acitve in XI.
Start transaction SICF.
Choose default_host -->sap --> XI.
All services should be active, particularly the services cache and cache_ssl.
You can activate a service, by right clicking and choosing the corresponding option in the context menu.

Sarvesh
So finally we have 1 option
delete the existing one & create another one,is it so?
The service no is of HTTP or J2EE?
