1.Sender proxy does not require any Sender Communication channel because SAPWEB application server version 6.20 and higher have their own local instance of integration engine.this allows application server as sender and receiver of messages in the native XI-SOAP format(Via PROXIES)or say Adapter on receiver side use XI adapter

u don't require XI adapter for sending Proxy.

You can use this adapter type when you want to communicate with an Adapter Engine at the receiver.

Their meta data go to XI server when you execute ABAP report.

Hi,

Sender or client proxy it is not required but for Server or inbound proxy it is required as XI integration server talks to R3 integration server through Xi adapters.
