ROS questionarie attachment is postdata.att file

Hi All,

We are working on a SRM 5.0 with supplier registration for the questionaire.

We are trying to send the detailed questionaire from the vendor who want to register as the propective vendor to the company.

Once he fills up the dynamic file and says submit questionaire, it is taking him to the default email he has in his system and the file is getting attached as postdata.att.

Why the file is coming as postdata.att ?

The email is maintained in the SO50 transaction where the recipient as a valid email address Document class is ICS and the Exit name is CL_UWS_FORM_RUNTIME_MAIL.

Any clues on this please?

Please correct me if I am doing something wrong somewhere.

Best regards,

Sridhar.

Hi,

Please set inbound trace. Transaction SCOT. Utilities -> Trace.

If there is no entry in the trace, that means SRM is not received a email. If it is the case, please check SMTP email setting.

Hi Masa,

Thanks for the reply.

I tried exactly the same what you have written. The outbound messages from SUS to the external email has an entry in the trace and also in SOST. But whatever the questionaire once the new vendor submits is generating me a postdata.att file and sending it to the recipient email address in SO50.

There is a valid SO50 recipient email address available in the SUS SRM client.

What needs to be checked?

Can you please help me out?

Best regards,

Sridhar.

Hi,

It looks SMTP mail setting problem. Can you test this ?

1. Go to SU01 and set email address in your user ID ( like yourid@srm.sid.com)

2. Send a email from your daily mail tool like outlook to your id in SRM

yourid@excenage.com(email client) -> yourid@srm.sid.com (SRM)

3. Go to transaction SBWP and check received email

If you have not received the email, please check SMTP setting.

Hi Masa,

Our SMTP is configured as per the OSS note mentioned and it is coming as a format.

We are also getting mails in the SBWP.

But I am confused where to see this in our EBP/ROS client.

In the Screen Suppliers --> in EBP I could see the accepted questionaire with the general data which was entered initially.

But when the new vendor submits it for the second time the detailed questionaire where to see the received details in EBP.

Is it through Screen suppliers or through some other service.

In the screen suppliers the questionaire I am receiving is not editable. I can even open it. Any clues on this?

Best regards,

Sridhar
