Changing layout for VF04

When running the billing due list (VF04) for order related documents, our users want to see the field "order reason" in the results. I am not able to add any fields in the results of VF04. I checked the layout settings and found that SAP does not allow any layout changes for this screen.

From what I understand, SAP is not allowing to do this because VF04 results contain both orders and deliveries, which means the results come from different tables. Is this why SAP does not allow layout changes for this transaction?

If I want to include "Order reason" for VF04 results (at least for Order related billing docs), what do I need to do?

Hi Kishan,

You copy the Standard program of VF04 then you add "order reason" field in the selection screen of the VF04 with the help of ABAPer, and also mention the logic and source tables for that field,your requirement will be fullfilled.

We were trying to avoid creating a new custom program for this but could not find an alternative.

Ended up creating the program and now we got it resolved.

You can not make changes in standard because sap does not allows.
