Please tell if below scenario is possible. If yes, then how.

The scenario will be that we create a standard stock sales order.

Enter a material on each line with the correct/full dollar amount for that material.

We will create a delivery note to ship the material and process the delivery note.

At the time of generating the billing document/invoice, the NEW requirement willbe to only bill 25% of the price.

Meaning the customer will receive four invoices eachat 25% of the full material price.

In other words we will break the line item dollar amount into four billing documents.

25% of purchase due at 30 days.

am not sure if this is possible, anyways just to consider

if the invoice value is 100 $ you can make it 25 each, but if it is 99 or 101 $ how are you going to make 4 equal parts for it. What will be your rounding rule and how is it understood from an accouting perspective.

may be you can do partial billing with the help of some billing plan. for such items where you require this scenario, may be think of putting a milestone billing and input the required vaue to bill. But however from a real project scenario perspective i guess we should not tweak it too much.
