Hi Guys
I am new to SAP XI but I am looking for screenshots of some BPM scenarios to practice : collect ,split and other special scenarios in BPM.
I would really appreciate if someone sends me the screenshots.
Thanks
Hi,
A lil bit theory, we use BPM when we need to do:
1.Controling or Monitoring of messages in XI
2. Collect or Merge the messages in XI
3. Split the messages in XI
4. Multicast a Message
5. Need to send an Alert
Below are few blogs, which demonstrate how BPM can be used.

Hi Guys
Thanks first of all.
I tried the Walkthough with BPM blog : at transformation step ,it just skips and says you can do either collect or split ..
Well I am new and I want to make sure ,I understand the BPM scenarios.
Can I get some real time screenshots of BPM scenarios being implemented else it is fine too ,I can struggle and try to find out stuff.
Thanks

Hi,
Since you are new, then you should start with some simple scenario, and then move ahead with some complex scenario like N:1 mapping, understanding the Sync-Async Bridge, etc.. see blogs in above post.
This is also a real time scenario.
File to File thro RFC using BMP:
/people/arpit.seth/blog/2005/06/27/rfc-scenario-using-bpm--starter-kit
Note: To understand BPM, just login to your Integration Repository and then under SWCV "SAP BASIS" you will find all the patterns like collect, merg, split, serialization, etc. Best place to learn and understand BPM.
