TREX and CCM2

Hi,

In our development system landscape we do not have setup the TREX in connection with SRM 5.0 and CCM 2.0.

Is TREX necesary for being able to access a catalog (CCM2) from the shopping cart ,or can it do without the TREX (only access but not be able to search the catalog)?

So if I understand you correctly, even for accessing the Catalog from a shopping cart, TREX is a prerequisite!

Hi,

TREX is a required component of the SAP CCM 2.0, even in the scenario where the search functionality would not be used the TREX is still a requirement for publishing and indexing of the published data.

Yes TREX is mandatory for CCM2.0

(written in the master guide)

TREX is a required component of the SAP CCM 2.0, even in the scenario where the search functionality would not be used (i.e. in a scenario of just navigating the hierarchial structure and selecting items) the TREX is still a requirement for publishing and indexing of the published data.
