Hi Experts!!!,
I got an error in ddic_activation phase,the error is
TP_STEP_FAILURE return code 8 step A
Then i have rerun the import again then it said the support package was imported sucessfuly.
What does this error mean ,does this have any impact on the system.

This error occurs when importing support packs with DDIC or SAP*. Hope u r not using them. Its always preferred to use user with same authorizations as DDIC.

Hi All,
Yeah i am using the user which has all the authorizations as of ddic or sap*, i have installed many support packages with the same user id but it now everything worked fine even now it has worked fine,but at one point i have got this error but i have reimported it then it has run successfully.
