SNP-PPDS integration

Hi experts,

We are facing problems within SNP-PPDS integration.

In SNP we have 2 KeyFigures from the PA_9ASNP01, one for the safety stock, SAFETY, and the second one for the build up stock, 9AADDKF1,(we produce in order to cover the demand during a certain period of time). The problem is that when we want to transfer to PPDS we don't want to dicrease this safety stock by unexpected orders, because the stock has been created for that period.

Does anyone know how to solve this issue?

Are you running SAP_PP_018 heuristic to create Safety Stock as Demand element in PPDS.

If you have Safety Stock Planning in SNP and you are going to carry out planning for same product in PPDS then you need to run this heuristic also.

This will create the required Demand element to cover the Safety Stock which was considered in SNP.

Not sure I understand your problem.

Sales orders does not consume safety stock.

Forecast consumption is set by the consumption group.

PP/DS considers safety stock also?
