Netweaver Administrator logs are not updated

Hello,

We are running an EP6 portal,((6.0.16.0.0.Enterprise_Portal_Support_Release).

We need to have logs and traces of user connections to the Portal.

I have used the Netweaver Administrator to configure logs and traces, that have not yet been activated :

Logging Category

HttpAccess ALL

CommonLogFormat ALL

UserSession ALL

Destinations :

./log/usersession.log

./log/system/logging.log

./log/system/httpaccess/responses.trc

The configuration has then been saved. The portal has not been

restarted.

BUT ...

The log files have not been updated, and we're getting errors on NWA :

path 6 fu00E9vr. 2008 11:07:16:952 Caught java.lang.Exception: .\log\system\httpaccess\responses-clf.trc.0 (The system cannot find the path specified)

The file responses.0.trc exists in the directory G:\usr\sap\PFA\JC00\j2ee\cluster\server0\log\system\httpaccess but has not been updated since 2005 !

The file ./log/system/logging.log is not updated.

The file .\log\usersession.log.0 doesn't exist, should i create it manually ?

I really don't know why ?

Any idea would be highly appreciated.

Thanks.

Best Regards.

Hi Indus,

instead of

./log/usersession.log

./log/system/logging.log

./log/system/httpaccess/responses.trc

provide complete path

G:\usr\sap\PFA\JC00\j2ee\cluster\server0\log\usersession.log

G:\usr\sap\PFA\JC00\j2ee\cluster\server0\log\system/logging.log

G:\usr\sap\PFA\JC00\j2ee\cluster\server0\log\system/httpaccess/responses.trc

Regards,

Siddhesh
