same client no has impact in diff systems

Hi,

Currently we have upgraded to ECC and setup Dev and QA systems and in QA we have the Client 500 and have setup a logcial system ..MR1CLNT500 and after 1 month we are going to setup Production system with Client No :500..

My question is if we have the same client no in both the systems does it have any impact...

If any precautions needs to be taken pls let me know..

Hi Satyanarayana N.,

You can keep the same client for PRD, OQ and DEV even for sanbox also.

I think your <SID> will be different so the logical name will be also different.

No issue.

Hello Satya,

same client no issue. We have 100 of systems with the same client.But never have same logical system names. Will cause severe headaches when making ALE connections or sending data making use of logical systems.
