unable to log

Dear all,

I have installed ECC 6.0. In client 001 there is few sample data in it. And I can log into client 001.There is no problem. But from previous expectations I know that sample data is stored in client 765. But I can not log into that client. I think client 001 is chield and client 765 is master client. From this point what should do for reaching the master client? Can anybody tell me step by step?

Hi Feyyaz,

The client 001 is the master client which comes by standard sap installation.We make a copy of that client for our production work.You can try to login in to the client 001

by using the DDIC user and the password is 19920706 if you have not changed the standard password during your installation.Then go to su01 and try to unlock the user or

change the password for that user.You will be able to login in to the system now.

Hi Feyyaz,

If you want to login to client 765 then do as follows:

1. Delete the user SAP* from client 765.

2. Set the parameter login/no_automatic_user_sapstar = 1 in default profile.

3. Restart the system.

4. Login with the user sap* in client 765 ad give the password as 'pass'.
