Amount is coming in million or trillion instead of lakh or crore in scrip

hi everybody,

i am modifying a standard fi script for payment advice . in that form i showed the total amount in words. for that i am using HR_IN_CHG_INR_WRDS function module. the amount in word is coming as million or trillion , but i need it in lakh or crore . also tried spell_amont fm it shows runtime error for the import parameter as length is incorrect . i use that parameter as CHAR TYPE SPELL-WORD .

and i am facing another problem that the amount is coming as 12.23.49,00 but it should come as 12,23,49.00

so please if u have any suggetion please send me. its so urgent.

Hi Banaja,

I tried using the FM 'HR_IN_CHG_INR_WRDS' and the result i got is in lakhs only......

one restriction in this FM is that it will convert into words if the amount is greater than 1000000000.
