All Three materials in the same sales order how the system will confirm documents. Separately or collectively how delivery will take palce.

and one more thing how daily requirement and individual requirement will work in material master. not in sd pointview, mm, pp point of view. any one give me examples how does this two things acts.

Thanks in advance

Hi,

All items in a sales order would have their own schedule lines. As per the Availability settings per item, either the item is confirmed with confirmed schedule lines for the same date, or confirmed for a later date or not able to confirm at all. \All the schedule lines with confirmed qty. will get delivered (maybe in multiple deliveries if the schedule lines are different).

The fully confirmed items will have a status as 'Fully comfirmed' and some items may have 'Not yet confirmed'. Based on that, the Header status will have either 'Fully confirmed' or 'Partially confimed etc.

Individual req. would pass the requirements as soon as a sales order is generated. can be used for fast moving and tight inventory situations. MRP can be run as soon as a sales order is created.

Daily req. are cumulated over a period and passed on to MRP.

hi,

when there is no check, obviously the system can propose the current date for delivery. But during pgi, unless there is stock you cant do it.

daily and individual requirements are just understand how the stock requirements are converted either into purchase orders in MM from purchase requisitions generated from SD or planned orders getting converted into production orders in PP.

Normally for items which are of MTS nature a collective requirement is run depending on the business demand for example end of every week on how much stock is required than planning on a daily basis.

As far proposing the delivery dates is concerned, along with the checking rule, it depends on the lead times whats stock movments you are taking into account.
