MDM Gurus,
I'm a Basis guy that just started on a project and we have an MDM app server and MDM DB server (oracle 10g). Both on Sun solaris 10.
The MDM version is 5.5 SP5 patch0 hotfix 0
Looks like saposcol does not run by default on either system. Is it possible to install sapkernel/saposcol on these systems and run the saposcol?
I could not find any notes/SDN threads about this. I'd like to install saposcol on these systems to plug in to the cpu/disk/memory things that saposcol does for me on my abap systems. I like using the wily epagent to plugin to my Wily EM.
Again, I'm talking about a UNIX platform, NOT windows. It does look like MDM has real ccms monitors for windows that don't exist on UNIX just yet....
Thanks,
Nick
Thanks Michael, good info.
We're going to move to SP5 patch2 hotfix first. Don't ask me why....
Appreciate your help.
Nick

Hi Nicholas
Wily Integration for unix is introduced with the latest SP6 Patch 1 release which is already available for download. Maybe you should consider an update of your MDM to this version?
