we are missing sapstart option in mmc console.

hello sir

in ides 4.6c

i am missing sap start and stop server icon in mmc console.

i.e it showing a error as start service of sapids_00 failed.

Error#:1056.

Start failed.

sapparm: no profile.

we are able to see only

console root

sap r/3 system.

so please kindly send me reply on this error.

Hi,

Check if this options help. From Windows taskbar, click on Start -> Run. Type mmc. This opens up new MMC console. File -> Add/Remove Snapin -> Add -> SAP System -> Add. Check if all options appear. if so, save this using save as option on desktop.
