Hi,
Please see the entries in "Lot size" tab of MRP1 view of the material master. Please see & correct the entries in " Minimum Lot size", "lot size" , fixed lot size" etc.

Hi,
You mean to say, you are able to see reservation number in the project builder for the component, but not able to see the same in MD04.
Improbable ...
Can you be more specific.

Hi,
If the BOM has been transferred, the problem could be with:
1.Material master
2.Procurement indicator in the network against materials
3.Status of the activity / WBS. Have they been released.
Further, what type of materials are you using ? Category - L, N ??
Whether the materials are expected to create WBS reservation, network reservation, purchase requisition ..,.?
Most important - Material master -MRP1 tab->MRP type (whether maintained or not
WBS/ Network - Released or not ?

Hi Preeti,
Has the BOM been finally transferred. If yes, kindly close that posting and create a fresh thread for the new issue which seems to me not related to BOM transfer.

Hi,
Have you been successful ?
You need not do anything in CN38.
Do the other settings recommended.
To ensure that the BOM is Ok, pl check the following :
Go for display of WBS BOM -CS73
Display the BOM.
Select one line item by clicking on the left side of the item sl number->GOTO->ITEM.
Check for reference point.
Is it allright ?
Otherwise, assign reference point to the BOM item.

Hi Srinivas,
I thought this customization is relevant for earlier releases, i.e releases prior to 4.70. Correct me, if I am wrong.

ya i have maintained the ref point for Plant....
and hey nw i created the simple proj and transfered the materials without the ref point mentioning in CJ20N... and i have mantioned the ref point for those BOM Items in CS71
is this correct way...
am i doing in correct procedure....
pls let me know...
Hi,
Please ensure that following parameters are maintained in the BOM transfer profile:
Plant
BOM usage
BOM Application
Required quantity (default it as 1)
WBS BOM -(I assume you are using WBS BOM)
Tick the radio button- All items
Further, please check whether you have deleted or set deletion flag for any actvity in the network for which you had assigned the same reference point. If deletion flag has been set for any such activity, reset the deletion flag and remove the reference point assignment from those activities, and set the deletion flag again, if required.

Hi,
Please check whether every BOM item has reference point.

The problem is with the SPRO configuration node 'Define Fields in BOM and Activity as Reference Point' (T Code CN38). Maintain the fields as below or keep them blank:
BOM field name- RFPNT
Network field name-RFPNT
If you have any other field (Plant - WERKS) to be used as reference point you need to mention it here.

Sreenivas
Hi,
You might have assigned the same reference point to more than one activity. Each activity in a network should have a distinct reference point and this should be entered in the field "reference point" under tab Assignment. The required reference points must have been created in customization.
