Generation of PR

Can we generate a PR for a service Material. If yes then how to do it.

Make sure the service item category group is Norm and item category is BANS on the material master.

Check Item category determination in SD so that Type Bans uses item category TAS. In the item category TAS, there is a tick to say generate puchase requisition automatically. In sap standard this is ticked.

Hi Sunil,

I have a small question on this

Why u want to create PR for service material..Normally PR will create on basis of Scheduline category after assigning the order type to the corresponding Scheduleline Category if the material is having delivery..

As per my knowledge there is no any delivery for Service Material so i can't create PR for this material.
