In process inspection

Hi all

We have scenario in our processing Department in Textile Industry,basiscally they want to enter results for some Quality parameters for semifinished fabric at last operation with inspection type-03( inprocess inspection)

But presently if production order is created for 20000mts & suppose 1st batch of 4000mts which user confirms production for first time a warning message will get displayed for Quality results for the inspection lot,& second time when he confirms new batch of 5000mts again system does not stop for entering quality results,It allows to directly confirm

We want basically every time for different bathches or jobcards the process quality dept has to enter in process quality results & no posting of stock,we want only results to be keyed in.

how to do this & where is customisation setting in spro.

to make this message as warning message for every batch.

Or can we make in customisation such that while confirmation of different batches of same production order a new inspection lot should get generated.Is it possible

Hi Sandeep

As you require instead of information message error should occur.

As you have already mentioned when you confirm 1st time only you are getting information message.

Second time onwards you are not getting any message.

We can make in production /process order settings to error message.

Even that also will occur first time.

Once you enter the results , next time onwards , it will not give any message.

If you want you can make & try the settings in production order confirmation parameters if you are using prodction order.

you can select option ERROR message.

Thanks for your reply But it is not still helping our problem,

only for the first time when we do confirmation we are getting error message,but for second time when we are doing confirmation for same order for next batch system is not stopping its allowing to post confirmation without entering results.

Can u Please provide a solution for the same.

I have already explained that it will help for the first time.

This is the std SAP functionality.

You can try the following user exits.

CONFPP01 PP order conf.: Determine customer specific default values

CONFPP02 PP order conf.: Customer specific input checks 1

CONFPP03 PP order conf.: Cust. specific check after op. selection

CONFPP04 PP order conf.: Customer specific input checks 2

CONFPP05 PP order conf.: Customer specific enhancements when saving

CONFPP06 PP Order Confirmations: Actual Data Transfer

CONFPP07 Single Screen Entry: Inclusion of User-Defined Subscreens

Sandeep,

I can't find any IMG setting for this. There is way to make this happen. Note down the message number and goto transaction SE91 and ener the message class(usually the first digits of message number) and display.

Here you can see the messages and with the help of a techincal consultant you can make this as error message.

Sandip,

This is quite simple. Please follow the below steps.

1. In the routing for the material, goto the header details and here you can find the "parameters for dynamic modification/inspection points".

2. Select the Inspn points as 100 and partial lot assignment as "Partial lot and batch for each inspection point"

3. Goto the operation and select the operation and select the Details->operation.

4. here you can find the section "Quality management:inspeciton point"

5. Select the appropriate insp point completion and select the Qty-related and enter the qty and units. For ex if you want to have the results for every 2000 mts, then enter the qty as 2000 and unit of measurement a mts.

This will trigger your requirements.

Your solution was very much helpful,I want one more thing where in spro I have to go for setting the mesage as error message,Right now only information message is getting displayed as below,as our user requirement is such that he would feed results for every batch generated in Prod Order.
