MDM Web Catalogs

Dear MDM Experts,

How do we push data from MDM repository to the web as web catalog.

What are the pre-reqs :

(like does it require SAP portal or any other portal is supported,

any plugin to be installed

can family grouping be done from SAP Portal etc)

Hi ashish,

You need to deploy the sca files that come with the business content on the WAS in the below mentined order

(As SAP recommended):

1. Java API MDMJAVAAPI05_1.sca file

2. then Search UI SRMMDMCAT01_0.sca file.

If you are having any problems then just check with the SAP note no-1082069 for the version mapping of tthe SRM-MDM catalog version which you are using againt your MDM version.

And one more thing, if you are trying to access the Config UI file in web browser then use the link

http://J2EEserver:portno/SRM-MDM/SRM_MDM

and to access the search UI from the web browser u need to send extra parametrs

http://j2eeserver:portno/SRM-MDM/SRM_MDM?sap-locale=EN&HOOK_URL=&mask=&namedSearch=&username=system&... name&server=MDM server IP address&datalanguage=EN
