Drop down list for attributes is empty in Web display

In SRM 5.0 we are unable to display the list of attributes in the drop down selection in the web front end. I saw a trail for this issue earlier but I was unable to open it.

Our issue was due to:

For authorization PLOG

user need AEND value for PPFCODE
