No u can't. But u can club 2 data types together in Datatype itself and assign to Message type.

MT type is the real respresentation of your Payload...so MT represent the root element of that payload. So if you click on MT window in IR, u will see there u can assign only one Data Type. One message type reffer only Data type.
Cardinality between DT and MT is 1:1
Nesting of Data Types in possible..means in DT_A u can reffer/point DT_B
