creation of Distribution Center without QM

Hi,

Our DC is full warehouse managed and quality managed, we would like to go for warehouse managed DC without quality in the initial stage for this new DC, but later on we may need quality in this DC.

Can anybody tell me the procedure of creating a distribution center without QM? We want to activate the QM later.

I think Implementing QM module in Retail is not possible.

But we can track the Quality inspection stock .. U have an Indiacator in Logistics DC tabpage as

"Post to Inspection stock"

Hi Raghu,

Go to Tcode MM41 click either Logistics DC or Logistics Store button and underneath this screen you will find Quality Management Button and when you click QM button you can find Tab Post to Inspection stock and click this button.

In MIGO your stock will be received under QM .

Dear Raghu Ram,

There is no concept of DC and QM put together in SAP R/3 or in SAP IS Retail. Please note that, DC and Stores are organization elements in SAP IS Retail.

QM Functionality is entirely different.

You can implement DC or Store without QM Module too.

If you want QM in a later stage, you can implement the same at any point of time after configuration and maintenance of QM Masters.
