how many planning area can we usee???
It all depends on Business requirements like different products need different UOM and we can't convert it to common UOM.
If there is no constraints/Business Justification than it is always suggested to go for one planning area as maintenance will be less if you have one planning area .And rather than having two planning areas it alwats better you create multiple Planning book/ data book.
