You can find a great deal of information about the ARTS XML standard (the new name for ARTS IXRetail) on the [ARTS website|http://www.nrf-arts.org] . If you or your client is an ARTS member (that information is also available there), you can download the documentation for the standard.

If you have specific questions and your company is an ARTS member, you can post questions to the WebBoard for ARTS XML.

concept behing ARTS IXRetail is

"provides retailers the ability to create, deliver and archive digital receipts using in-store point-of-sale transaction data. The digital receipt is an electronic purchase verification that can be issued by retailers, financial institutions or any other industry that provides consumers proof of purchase"
