Make To Order Process

I am Trying To do the Process of MTO But when I am Completing My Sales Order, In Schedule Line data it creates purchase requisition , But I have Heard that it must generate MRP note. So where I am Wrong? Pls Guide Me .

If Possible Pls Send Me related Documents of Configuration for MTO Process.

Please tell me when is the purchase requistion being created is it before saving the sales order or after saving the sales order

Hi Mahendra,

For MTO scenario..there are various planning strategies.

The most commonly used one is 20.

The process is...

Maintain strategy 20 in Material master MRP 3 View, strategy group field.

Then create a sales order...

Take a MRP run - MD02 .

Check the MRP results in MD04 . You will find the planned order here..which will be converted to a production order..
