MDM_TECH package

Hi All,

I am working on the MDM SERVER 5.5 ( 5.5.40.83 )

Can anyone tell me which MDM_TECH Package i should install on the R/3 so that it should be compatible with my server. Through this package i am going to access MDM Server.

Because in the SAP SERVICE market , various mdm_tech package are available. I am unable to decide which is compatible with my mdm server.

Hi Devender,

See these two patches which is for your build, but patch installation depends which patch is of MDM server and WAS level of R3 system you are using if 640 use 1st one, if 700 then 2nd.

1. Support Package

SAPK-46404INMDMTECH MDM_TECH 554_640: patch 0004

2. Support Package

SAPK-47004INMDMTECH MDM_TECH 554_700: patch 0004

In support packeages the patch level is 4 now if your mdm server of patch level 4 then use either of these according to WAS.

otherwise you can choose from the list which you are getting on market place according to two parameters.

Thanks for the great answer. I have gone through the note. The 1025897. Since i am new to this , i have understood the note not much.

Also my MDM SERVER 5.5 SP05 ( 5.5.40.83 )

If u could understand the note clearly and can tell me which package i should download.

Hi Devender,

you can check patch level under transaction,

In R\3 System , Go to transaction SPAM . It will show Support Package Manager- Version x.00/00

where if x = 6.40 go for

1. Support Package

SAPK-46404INMDMTECH MDM_TECH 554_640: patch 0004

if it is 7.00 go for

2. Support Package

SAPK-47004INMDMTECH MDM_TECH 554_700: patch 0004
