In my dropdown by index I get an empty row at the top and if the user click that '500 internal error is getting displayed. Java null pointer exception'
I dont understand where this empty line is coming from.
How to get rid of this one.

Change the selection cardinality of the node bound to the DropDownBy<Key/Index> UI element to 1...1.

Set the selection cardinality of the node bound to your drop down by index to 1..n, so that the empty row is removed.
