How to make buttons work in Interactive Adobe Forms

Hi Experts,

I am new to interactive form. Though i have worked in normal/non-Interactive form, i do not know how to make buttons work in interactive adobe forms using ABAP (I don't know JAVA). Can any one help me out and walk me through to how to code in ABAP to make buttons work.

Hi..,

To perform any action in the Interactive form, you should write acrobat javascript, in the Adobe LiveCycle Designer. To open the Script editor, goto->Palettes->Script Editor from the tool bar of Adobe LiveCycle Designer. Later select the button to which to need an action, from the script editor select the type, for ex:click event and write the necessary script,..

first check you have all the necessary softwares and patchs installed

second, go to sfp and look for a standard form the following are few examples

ISR_FORM_SPPD

ISR_FORM_SPPM,

ISR_FORM_* ( you will get all the forms and select the one which is close to your requirement)

third, copy the form and its interface

fourth, play around to see how these form works and apply them in your custom form
