Hi

We are running XI 3.0 SP 20. And for some days ago we had changed our systemid from DNICMS1f to DNICMS1 but for som reason I still had one software component (ANSIX12) with the old CMS URL. We had tried to make a new software componet with same name (copy delete copy back) but still it will have the old servername. How to change this ??

HI,

In the above post the steps are already explained.just extendiong to it you need to Either restart the J2EE Engine after you have added the roles to the CMS user or wait until the group assignment has been transferred to the J2EE Engine.

Within CMS, it is assumed that there is only one central SLD for all Integration Builder systems of the CMS domain. If more than one SLD is used by the Integration Builder systems, you should choose the master SLD for the domain definition.

If you want to work with the Web UI of Change Management Service (CMS), you can use a range of URL parameters to define your access point in CMS.

URL parameter

The following URL parameters are available:

· SYS (system)

When you set this parameter, you select the system that is accessed directly from Transport Studio in the specified track. You can choose from the following system IDs:

¡ D

Development system

¡ C

Consolidation system

¡ Q

Test system

¡ F

Production system

The syntax for this URL parameter is as follows:

http:///webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/tcSLCMS~WebUI/Cms?SYS=/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/tcSLCMS~WebUI/Cms?DCP=/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/tcSLCMS~WebUI/Cms?SYS=

Sorry but the above did not make me happy

When I am looking this URL

http://xx.xx.com:50000/rep/support/admin/index.html I get a list off all my software components look like this:

ADP, 1.0 of adp b232d3e0d91f11da9636d631931db870 JDI_DNIREP_D_adp_ADP DEV Dec 5, 2007 12:51:43 PM http://dnicms1:50000 true

ANSIX12, 1.0 of xxx.com 6e6696105bb411dc9a53e979931db870 JDI_DNIREP_D_xxx.com_ANSIX12 DEV Dec 5, 2007 12:51:43 PM http://dnicms1f.xxx.com:50000 true

ATTURI, 1.0 of xxx.com 30be9e904bba11da8f1be7e2931db870 JDI_DNIREP_D_xxx.com_ATTURI DEV Dec 5, 2007 12:51:43 PM http://dnicms1:50000

If you take a look at the http:// parameter you will find that the first and the third case have the right URL dnicms1:50000 but the second have a fail dnicms1f:50000

I only want to find a way to change this error, because the rest of the software components had the right URL.

Please help me with this.

hi kim,

Just go to that system (ECC, R3 or whatever it is) for which the sofware component, you are using.

And make an entry of your XI server name in Host file on that system.

RUN>Drivers>ETC-->Host file open with notepad. and put an entry against XI ip address with name dnicms1.

I think it will help you.

Hi Kim,

You can change/add the URL of any Trasaction as follows :

1. Call transaction SLDAPICUST.

2. Switch to editing mode and choose Insert Row. Specify the connection parameters (host name, port,

user, and password) and set this SLD server as Primary.

Only the entry marked as Primary is active.

3. Save your entries.

*Pls: Reward points if helpful*

Jyoti
