Hi All,
Can anyone please let me know the structure of Oracle Database and also the difference between tablespace and data file.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Sreekanth
Hi,
Are you kidding ?
You really want to learn Oracle with one forum question ?
Go and buy a good book on Oracle database or better follow an Oracle course.
For your information a tablespace is a logical group of several database segments.
A tablespace is physically composed of one or several data files.
Regards,
Olivier

I've seen it at least a few times where someone will fake their way through an interview and they aren't found out until a week or so on the job an dthey take a system down because of their ineptitude.
please, take some courses and learn the material before trying to apply for a basis position.
